For 44 years McDowell has had student art work displayed during the month of May! The celebration of the arts use to have work from every art student in the school district and was an awesome site to see! The huge display of Kindergarten work through 12th. grade Senior work showed the progression and growth our school district’s art student receive through their art classes. Now, the elementary schools host individual art shows; McDowell and Logan Elm High School continue to carry on a tradition of an annual art show in conjunction with the spring music concerts. Art students from grades 7 through 12 have art work displayed. The work is judged and blue ribbons are awarded along with Best of Show awards. May 17th. at 7 PM is the junior high spring concert and May 19th. at 7PM is the high school spring concert. Please come and enjoy an even of art and entertainment!
